An agent that only knows the current screen stays limited. Giving it access to your business references makes its answers more precise — provided you can tell where they come from.
Selection, not ingestion
Indexing a lot does not help: what matters is that the useful source is found at the right moment, and that you can trace back to it.
A factual answer can cite its source and the date it was consulted. When information is missing or too old, the agent says so rather than filling the gap.
For critical data, the agent re-reads the original source before acting, even when an extract already exists in the index.
